-Stage boxes, bags, & chairs (preferably of similar size) near the front door, as these items will be loaded onto the truck first.
- Disassemble furniture & disconnect appliances such as beds, cribs, tables, couches, dressers with mirrors, & washer/dryer connections
- Most tools required for dis/reassembly include a screwdriver, channel locks, needle nose pliers, or occasional Allen wrench
- Clear the clutter! We’ll be ready to move quickly, so please pack up any loose items like papers, clothes, or valuables from entertainment stands, desks, dressers, or other surfaces. Ensuring these areas are tidy will help us work efficiently & prevent damage.
- Keep pets and children in safe areas to avoid any accidents during the move. We want to ensure everyone’s safety by keeping high-traffic areas clear.
- We appreciate your help in vacuuming rugs and wiping down furniture that may have collected dust or hair before we arrive.
- After the walk-through, if you’d like to assist, feel free to ask! There is a specific method for loading the truck, but we’re happy to direct you. Otherwise, the best place to be is in the kitchen or a low-traffic area.
